We made two trips up north and a trip to Vegas this month! We were all over the place, but we had lots of fun being with family and friends!
Tag was feeling a little under the weather one day so I took him into our room to cuddle and watch a show to try and get him to relax. Apparently I fell asleep though and Tag just sat and watched the entire movie! ...oops!
Happy 4th! Jason had to work on the 4th of July but we spent a little time together at the park that afternoon and grabbed some lunch/dinner before he had to head to work. Then Tag and I went to the fireworks that evening!

Yay! Tag was a little apprehensive at first but after a few minutes he decided that they were pretty cool!
Smellie family reunion at the cabin! We were excited to spend a few days at the cabin and get away from everything...I really took advantage of this time, so much so that we barely even have any pictures from the weekend because we were too busy playing!

Tag loves to play in the puppies bed, he chases Lucy and Chloe all over the house! This day he was having so much fun chasing them ans playing in their bed that he fell into the fireplace behind the puppy bed and chipped his front tooth! Poor buddy! It is really small and if you didn't know it was chipped you probably wouldn't even notice but it is definitely chipped!

Back home! (for a day or two...) Tag is at a really hard stage for church, he is old enough and independant enough that he doesn't want to sit in our laps but also too young for nursery. We spend lots of time in the halls at church some weeks because of this! Here he is vacuuming the floor one day during sacrament....at least he is being useful right!

The ice cream truck came by so of course Papa bought Tag a treat. He LOVED his popsicle! I was pretty sure that his hand was going to be blue for weeks! (luckily we were able to get the blue to go away with a little scrubbing!)

After the show we met up with the Payne gang at Red Robin for dinner. We loved seeing everyone and tag loved having these two around!!

Up north...again, seriously this month has been nuts! Jason had finals this week on campus so we decided to get a hotel room downtown so that he would be close to school. This is Tag and I cuddled up in our comfy bed!
Barnes & Noble is a favorite stop of ours! While Jason was on campus Tag and I shopped and walked around City Creek and The Gateway. I think we got the better end of that deal!

Done with finals!! YAY!! One more semester down only 5 to go!
We headed from our hotel up the canyon to go camping with the Staley clan. Tag did awesome sleeping in a tent for the first time and love the campfire, chasing squirrels, all of the strawberries that grandma gave him, blowing bubbles with his aunts and getting to play with his cousins!

Mimi was so nice to watch Tag for us {on her anniversary nonetheless} so that Jason and I could go on our first official childless date night since having Tag!! It was long over due! We had a blast heading up the canyon to Pickleville and laughing till our side hurt!!
Easy dinner on the way there! We got off later than planned so dinner was on the run in time to get to the show on time.
When at Pickleville you must enjoy a good pickle pop!

I dyed a little when I found this back pack! Oh how I love when he wears this! He loves it as well which makes it just that much better. He is so proud that he can carry his toys around himself!
Too big! This makes me want to cry thinking that in not nearly a long enough time he will be walking off to school like this! Slow down baby man!!
