August 2014

August brought even more family, lots of time up north and a few memories that will never be forgotten! 

This first picture is the last time that we were with Grandma Louise.  We knew when we said good bye that there was a good chance that we may not see her again, even though we were headed back up within a week or two.  Sure enough early on August 7th we received a call from Jason's family that Grandma had passed away.  It was hard news to hear but at the same time we were grateful that she was reunited with Grandpa Clyde and out of the pain that she had been in.  Times like this are when we are even more grateful for our testimonies and the knowledge that we have of the plan of salvation.  We love you Grandma and you will be greatly missed!

August also meant that the Allen crew was coming into town! We were so excited for Dani and the boys to come to St. George for a few days and then for all of us to party at Mimi and Papa's for the remainder of the month! Tag and I literally were up north the entire month! Jason was there the majority of the time with us too except for a few days that he came home to work.  

Tag and I got to pick up Dani at the boys at the airport! Little did we know that we were in for a big surprise!

Ezzy is going to be a big brother! Allen baby #3 will arrive somewhere around February 19th!

Grandma was the queen of hats! In her memory all of the girls wore big hats to the cemetery! It was a great way to remember Grandma!
