This past weekend (July 22-25) we decided that we would take a little trip down to St. George – we LOVE it down there and would move there in a heart beat if the opportunity presented itself. We didn’t do a whole lot except for relax and that was the best part of it all! We arrived in St. George late Thursday evening (we didn’t leave Logan until after work) so all that day consisted of was driving and then heading to bed. Friday we relaxed by the pool did some shopping and stopped by the cutest little ice cream shop down there and then headed to Pizza Factory for some dinner.
Saturday we went to the pool again for a while, got to go to lunch with Jason’s cousin Julia and her husband Ken – we love getting to spend time with them when we make it to St. George! – After lunch with them we went back to their house for a little while to play with the dogs and talk before Ken had to head off to work. That evening we ate dinner at Marv’s and took a nice long drive! –
Sunday morning we got up and cleaned the condo…I mean town home (long story!) – anyways – after that we got some lunch and then went and saw Brigham Young’s winter home before starting the drive back! –
On our way home we got a surprise phone call from Jackson who was nice enough to invite us over to play! – We love getting to spend time with Steve, Heather and Jack whenever we can so of course we jumped at the opportunity! – After a few hours of playing in the yard, a yummy dinner and brownies we jumped back in the car and finished the evening off back in Logan. – Overall it was a quick little trip but we had lots of fun!
