Spring Break Day #4:

Day four brought a new studio and some more adventures! - Jason and I had a lot of fun on the Warner Brothers lot Tuesday.  The day started with a studio tour, we parked the car and then started to walk the half mile or so to where the tour started.  We were running a few minutes late and about half way there I remembered that I had to show I.D. in order to go on the tour and my I.D. was in the car...oops!! Jason is such an awesome husband however that he ran (literally) back to the car and then we ran to the studio and made it in time (barely)! The tour was a lot of fun and we got to see many scenes that we recognized from some of our favorite movies!
This is the Jungle from Jurassic Park...
This is an area that has been used in MANY movies I can't even remember them all but it is a picture of our tour guide Andrew - he was lots of fun!
Back lot house that we got to tour....
Notice this area? Me either until I was told!
Love Red Ross!! haha this is where they shot the rugby scene.
What about this area? Nope?
 Another favorite episode of Friends
This is the plaque that is on the studio that Friends was taped for 10 seasons! (Can you tell that we are big Friends fans??) haha

This is the future stage for another one of our favorites...
The Voice! One of the best shows ever!!
The next stop on the tour was one of Jason's favorite parts- This was a ware house that had a lot of original cars from many movies!
 Grand Torino.
 Dukes of Hazard.
 The Matrix.
 Scooby-Doo.
 Batman Returns.
 Batman.
 Dark Night.
Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
 Yogi Bear.
This is Jason and I in front of a green screen (obviously) getting our picture taken.  They used this picture and made it look like we were looking at the Hogwarts Express.
My favorite part of the tour was seeing Central Perk, they have preserved this set and I loved getting a chance to see it!
Next we moved into the prop department you can find ANYTHING in this three story building from lamps to couches, plates, you name it! A favorite was a replica of the oval office presidential desk.
The last stops of the tour we weren't allowed to have cameras on.  First we walked through the Big Bang studio and got to see all of their sets, next we were able to walk through a museum with lots of different movie props including a whole floor of Harry Potter props.  Jason and I were even able to be sorted by the original sorting hat used in the movie. Jason was sorted into Griffendor, I was sorted into Hufflepuff.
Finishing up the tour back at the Warner Brothers Offices.
After we were finished with the tour we headed across the lot to studio 3...Aka the studio where Ellen tapes! Chris (thank you again!!) got us tickets to go see Ellen! Jason wasn't so sure about it but we had lots of fun!
On Ellen we got to see Jonah Hill (he is hilarious), LA Reid, a singer off of the X-Factor and a guy who had been taping on the subways in New York to earn money for college.  It was a good show!
When we got back to the car we forgot that we had left some of our treats that were chocolate in the car... oops! So we cranked up the air conditioning and attempted to cool them off quickly, but we couldn't wait for ever because we were both so hungry, we had eaten breakfast early that morning to get to the tour and didn't have time for lunch so come 6:30 when we got finished with Ellen we were both hungry so we quickly snacked on these treats once they weren't as melted!

Jason goofing off... Love this boy!
Waiting to get out of the parking garage after Ellen.
Jason's Reeses Egg that is still a little melted...
...that's okay! - They still taste good! haha
That evening we ate at a yummy italian restaurant in old town Pasadena and wondered around just enjoying the beauty of Pasadena!
