Christmas Eve was spent with my family this year, we had everyone there plus grandma Hansen and grandma & grandpa Smellie. Dad made an AWESOME prime rib, we read a few stories and ate way to much! The evening was really nice!
We spent that night at my parents and Christmas morning with them as well. We woke up Christmas morning and my dad made his famous McGriffins then we headed off to church, it was such a beautiful meeting! What as amazing way to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior. After the meeting we went back to the house and unwrapped a few presents. I again didn't pull out the camera but it was a fun day watching Dexter and just being together. For those who don't know Trevor has accepted a position at Michigan State for Dental school, we are SO excited for them but will be sad come June when way to many miles separate us!
Later that afternoon we headed to Kaysville to continue the day with Jason's family. The Staley house started off with a bang! Jason and I arrived just a few minutes before Steve and Heather, just in time to see Jackson walk in with some exciting news!! Yeah!! Come July Steve and Heathers family will be growing by one! We are so very excited for them and can't wait to welcome a beautiful new niece or nephew in to the family!!
Other funny story of the day, Christmas jammies, probably everyone and their dog has this tradition but we had to laugh when we realized that Steve and Jason bought Heather and I the same jammies! Haha to funny!
But it got even better when we realized it went even further and Heather and I had purchased Steve and Jason the same ones as well, I guess that great minds think a like!
Jason and Steve playing around with Jack.
We played games, opened presents and celebrating have everyone together for the first time in a VERY long time!!
