Tag - Week 1

My baby is already a week old and that makes me want to cry! How in the world am I going to cope with this handsome little man growing up so fast!!

 Jason ran o grab a few things from the store after we got home from the hospital and came home with this puppy for Tag that matched  his outfit that he came home from the hospital in! So cute!!

 Look at this cute smile that Jason caught! Such a happy man! 

 Tag at his first Doctors Appointment! He was already back over his birth weight weighing in at 8 lbs. 13 oz. (80th percentile) and still measuring in at 21 in. (80th percentile) 

 He was a happy camper to hang with mom and dad at the doctor! 

 We even caught another grin! 

 The poor guy had no idea what was coming to him though! Kind of tmi but we had Tag's circumcision done at this appointment.  I think that he did better with it than I did! I made Jason stand with him, I sat in the corner and cried.  It is so  hard to hear him cry like that and I just wanted to rescue him! He did awesome however and I think hated being strapped down more than the actual procedure itself!  He hates when people play with his arms and refuses to have them wrapped into his blankets so having them strapped down was pretty miserable for him.  As soon as they were finished they wrapped him back up and Jason handed him to me and he calmed right back down.  The little guy was a champ! 

 Dad decided that this was a fitting shirt for the day since he had been through so much! 

 I have seen this quote many times but recently saw it posted on facebook and it just hits a lot closer to home when you have your own child to take care of.  I am so grateful that we have Tag in our lives! We are so blessed to call him ours!

 These next few pictures were taken on Saturday April 27th! Tag was officially one week old! 

 

 This is my favorite one! haha yawning with his legs all stretched out!

 This is a rare shot of him not screaming on his changing table! Tag is not a fan of getting his diaper changed and knows that moment you set him down what is happening and starts crying! The moment you pick him back up it is like an "off" button and he is ok again - silly boy!

 Mimi and Papa were here the first few days that Tag was born, then Papa had to go home but Mimi stayed for a few more days to help out! It was great to have the extra help and get to spend some time with my mom! Thursday  April 25th she had to head back home.  We were sad to say goodbye! The following day Jason's parents came into town for a few days to meet out little man! 

They stayed for a few days and were also very nice to help out! We have been so blessed by friend and family and all of the love and support we have received through this pregnancy and since Tag has arrived! Thanks to all!!
