Happy Holidays!!

Happy New Year!! Merry Christmas and a million other greetings from our home! The holidays have been a blast! So much so that I have been a real slacker on keeping up with our blog but we'll see if I can catch it up with a few high-lights. First we got to decorate our house for the first time for Christmas. Since we knew that we were getting married last year I bought some Christmas decorations at the after Christmas sales. It was fun to have decorations and get to put them up together!

We spent Christmas at Jason's families house this year.

It was fun to get to be a part of their traditions!

Jason's mom had made an apron for his grandpa one of the first Christmas's that they were married. Jason's grandpa passed away just a little over a year ago and while she was cleaning out his house she found the apron that she had made. Jason's middle name is after his grandpa so she added Jason above the original Carlton and gave it to him as part of his Christmas. It is a fun item to have that Jason can remember his grandpa by. =)
Then we rang in the New Year with Steve and Heather. They came up to go to dinner with some friends so we got Jackson! We love playing with Jack he is super cute and has such a funny little personality.

After dinner Steve and Heather came back to our house we played games and then watched the ball drop!

We have had a lot of fun over the break just getting to be together. Having a break from school has been really nice!
